I’ll start out by saying that a lot of people have said they really liked this movie. If you have already seen a preview of the movie, or even read the back cover of the DVD, you probably have a good indication on how well you will enjoy the movie. If, however, the stuff you saw and read about the movie did not interest you all that much, just skip it. It won’t get any more interesting. In case you were oblivious, the movie is supposed to be based upon a biblical tale, which does not lead to an overly interesting or suspenseful plot. However, the movie was shot and directed wonderfully, and the action scenes were done well. Be advised, many of the action scenes are overly gory. So, if you think you can get into this kind of story, you will definitely find it a must watch. Otherwise, check out some of my previous action reviews, or hold out until ‘Jonah Hex’.
