Before watching this movie, I read the blurb about the movie on IMDB and it sounded interesting, but I figured ‘How good could it be? It has Steve Austin as the lead!’. I’m sure many other people assume the same when they see him as the lead character in a movie, but its not necessarily true. I actually enjoyed this movie a lot and thought the plot line was great. However, I was a bit disappointed in the acting by Steve Austin. Throughout most of the movie, his character has amnesia, and can’t remember his past. The acting works at that point, because it is understandable that his character has his gruff demeanor. However, when things change and it’s time for the character to show some emotion, Steve Austin can’t seem to deliver. I understand all his previous movies he has played characters as close to his own personality as possible, but if he wants to be taken serious as an actor, it is time to learn to act. Other than that, I did enjoy this movie, as the strong plot does make it interesting, despite the lack of acting all around.
